Temporary Storage Building for Automotive Manufacturer
The client required a temporary storage building to accommodate parts for a new elite range of four-wheel drive vehicles. A tender process was used to find a company who could design and build the temporary building they required and HTS TENTIQ was selected due to the competitive pricing and high spec modular temporary building solution available.
The modular temporary building supplied by HTS TENTIQ was a standalone structure with a bespoke link to the existing factory warehouse. The building was a 20.00m x 35.00m L-SERIES Thermo insulated temporary building with a 6.20m eave height, a thermal roof and single skin walling.
It was equipped with 2 personnel doors, 2 electric roller shutter doors, guttering and downpipes plus lighting. HTS TENTIQ was also required to add a bespoke link from the storage building to the existing factory to ensure full integration with the existing operation.
As no additional groundworks or foundations were required, the modular temporary building took just six days to install onto the existing site surface.
The fast installation process of building directly onto the existing concrete site surface meant the new building was complete and ready to be used in less than a week. Keeping the additional storage on-site was also a major benefit meaning the additional fuel costs and transportation time that come with leasing off-site, were avoided.
