Rapid Deployment Aircraft Hangar

An aircraft hangar was needed for a German based service provider. The hangar needed to be easy to dismantle, relocate and install in different locations around the world. It also needed to be durable enough to withstand the high wind loads for the coastal region of North Germany.

The client chose HTS TENTIQ because of their fast production and installation times, competitive pricing and previous experience supplying to the German Army. For this particular project the structure was a standard size and specification, but HTS TENTIQ can manufacture bespoke sizes and designs as part of the routine product offering. The hangar included a lighting system and was specified to meet 100 km/h wind speeds and 100 kg/m² snow loads. The structure also features a unique large ‘PVC Mega-Door’ approximately 16.00m wide by 4.00m high. The Mega-Door can open and close in approximately 30 seconds at the push of a button.

The client now has a structure that can be packaged into a 20 ft. container and easily deployed around the world. But, despite this ease of deployment it is strong enough to withstand the harshest of weather conditions and environments and was supplied quickly and at a competitive price.
