Workshop & Production
Temporary workshop buildings from HTS TENTIQ provide one of the easiest, fastest and most economical ways of increasing your on-site operational space – on a temporary or permanent basis.
A temporary workshop is usually chosen over more traditional buildings when speed, cost and flexibility are the overriding factors. The construction method also means buildings can be installed over static machinery or equipment, eg, they are often built over train tracks for train maintenance and storage.
Depending on the degree of insulation you require the complete range of HTS TENTIQ buildings are suitable for workshop and production applications. Basic weather protection for machinery and employees can be provided right through to fully insulated portable workshops and permanent production facilities.
Production Halls and Assembly Halls: Innovative Solutions for Maximum Efficiency
Depending on the required level of insulation, all temporary warehouse buildings from HTS TENTIQ can be used as production halls or assembly halls. Options range from simple weather protection for machinery and staff in the form of a warehouse canopy, to non-insulated warehouse buildings or insulated warehouse buildings.
Production and assembly halls offer a wide range of possible applications:
- Industrial goods manufacturing
- Mechanical and plant engineering
- Metalworking companies
- Power plant operators
- Construction industry
- Environmental technology
- Testing and inspection companies
- Chemical industry
- Pharmaceutical companies
- Assembly service providers

- Large spans without internal support columns
- Efficient layout with short internal routes
- Customised design based on space requirements and operational workflows
- Wall and roof options tailored to manufacturing processes
- Large doors and generous clearance heights
- Cost-benefit optimisation
- Assessment of applicable fire safety regulations
- Optimal and individually tailored lighting systems

Advantages of temporary buildings
Robust and high-quality aluminium temporary constructions ensure short delivery times, quick assembly and flexible addition and extension of your storage space. They are both highly weather-resistant and durable, resulting in long-term cost savings for your business.

Sustainable temporary construction
Depending on their equipment, temporary buildings can be dismantled and rebuilt repeatedly in different locations without considerable loss of quality. They are built to last for various decades and at the end of their lifespan, most raw materials are recycled.

Build high-quality temporary buildings with HTS TENTIQ
As a leader in manufacturing and distributing of temporary buildings, it is our mission to create the ideal space solution for all our customers’ needs. When working with us, you benefit from many years of experience and maximum product quality.
Maximum Cost-Effectiveness and Efficiency: The Ideal Size for Your New Assembly or Production Hall
The optimal size of a production or assembly hall depends not only on the available space but also on your specific workflows. We tailor the layout to your company’s individual requirements to ensure efficient use of space. The goal is to achieve an ideal cost-benefit ratio.
For production and assembly halls, we place particular emphasis on wide spans to ensure smooth implementation of your manufacturing processes. Our temporary buildings are available in widths ranging from 5.00 m to 30.00 m. The eave height can be selected between 4.20 m and 6.20 m depending on your needs. Other widths and heights are available on request, subject to certain conditions. The building length is flexible and can be extended indefinitely – giving you maximum flexibility in designing your lightweight structure.
Tailored to Your Workflows: Wide Range of Equipment and Accessories
Both production and assembly halls rely on key equipment features such as insulation, heating, cooling, ventilation, and lighting. With the right ventilation system, we create a healthy working environment and a pleasant indoor climate. Lighting is tailored to your operational processes and combines natural daylight with LED technology to ensure optimal working comfort.
Our non-insulated temporary buildings provide ideal protection for goods and materials. These can be fitted with PVC fabric walls or trapezoidal steel sheets. If you require an insulated building, our wall cladding with sandwich panels ensures effective thermal insulation. For roofing, you can choose between single-layer PVC covers, thermal PVC roofs, or rigid roofs made of trapezoidal sheeting or sandwich panels. The strategic positioning of doors and gates in the right sizes enables short routes and supports smooth workflow execution. Depending on your application, integrating sound insulation in production and assembly halls can also be beneficial.
In every hall design, we focus on a perfect balance between equipment and architecture to create ideal conditions for your production operations. We also tailor fire safety measures to match the size of your production or assembly hall and your specific requirements.
Create Ideal Working Conditions with Temporary Buildings by professionals
When planning your production or assembly hall, our experts not only ensure sufficient space for your operations but also focus on optimising your manufacturing processes. This allows us to deliver usage-specific and individually tailored space solutions to support your production workflows.
Fast processes and short internal routes are central to the design of both production and assembly halls. However, a modern production or assembly hall is far more than just a place where goods are manufactured. As it serves as a daily working environment for many employees, we also place great importance on creating a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere in every hall we design.

FAQs
Production halls are large-scale buildings used for the mechanical manufacturing of goods and products. They often need to accommodate large production machinery or crane systems. This type of hall is typically built as a single-storey structure and must meet a wide range of requirements to optimise manufacturing processes and provide a comfortable working environment for employees.
An assembly hall is a specialised type of production hall where individual components or parts are assembled into a finished product.
A building permit is generally required for production or assembly halls above a certain size or intended period of use.
Halls intended for short-term use often do not require a permit and can be erected as so-called “temporary structures.” To qualify, they must be installed without foundations and may only remain in place for a maximum of three months. Additionally, the footprint of permit-free halls is limited to 75 m².
