Industrial Modular Buildings: Procurement & Planning

From the manufacture and supply of high-quality temporary industrial halls, warehouses and modular buildings, through to customer care, delivery and installation, right up to maintenance, HTS TENTIQ provides a comprehensive design and build service for industrial modular structures – premium quality, flexible and cost-effective.

What has motivated HTS TENTIQ from the very beginning is the ambition to offer customers a first-class, all-encompassing service from a single source. Over the years, our range of services has evolved continuously: from being a pure supplier, we have grown into a holistic partner that covers every step from initial concept to turnkey handover – and we keep refining this service.

Our Premium Design & Build Service

Throughout the entire project – from enquiry to completition – an experienced technical project manager will be your sole point of contact, guiding you through every project phase:

An initial concept and project outline, along with a cost estimate for your modular, temporary building.

Your account manager will inspect the area and discuss your project in more detail. This includes relevant timescales and accessory options.

Based on your initial enquiry, you will receive a detailed quotation. If required, your personal point of contact can also arrange a site visit to discuss your project in detail, including timescales, intended use, accessories and equipment options.

Once the project has been agreed, we will ask you to sign and return a formal order confirmation.

Depending on the project, a preliminary structural assessment may already be required for the final quotation. Prior to manufacture, our structural engineer will additionally carry out site-specific structural calculations. This ensures that the building is engineered to withstand the specific wind and snow loadings as well as other requirements relating to your exact location, position and orientation.

If planning permission is required for the building, we can support you with your application. We will provide all the necessary drawings, plans and supporting documents throughout the process.

On the first day of installation, the project manager will ensure that everything is prepared for a smooth build. Our experienced installation teams hold all the required qualifications and certifications. You can find further information on the Installation & Dismantling page.

Following installation, HTS TENTIQ will carry out a building inspection together with you, complete the final sign-off and hand over your modular building.

For long-term use or rental, we – or a company appointed by us – will carry out all maintenance work in accordance with the agreement or contract, or on a time and materials basis at additional cost.

Planning Permission for Temporary Industrial Buildings

Planning regulations and building requirements for temporary industrial structures differ considerably depending on the country and region. As these rules are governed by local legislation, it is the responsibility of the building owner to obtain the relevant information and permissions in advance.

We recommend seeking guidance from a qualified local planning consultant or authority to ensure your project meets all applicable requirements.

Our Comprehensive Planning Permission Service for Temporary Buildings

We recommend working with a planning expert who specialises in applications for temporary buildings. This will help ensure that your project is delivered efficiently, on time and within budget.

HTS TENTIQ will support you with all technical aspects of your project, providing the necessary plans, drawings and documentation required. However, as building regulations vary significantly from country to country, we strongly recommend working with a qualified local consultant who can advise on all applicable requirements, manage the necessary processes and ensure your project is delivered in full compliance with local legislation.

Planning Permission Tips for Temporary Modular Buildings

  • Plan ahead. Building permit processes can take considerable time, so we recommend submitting any required applications as early as possible.
  • Provide as much detail as possible when applying, with particular reference to the intended use and required timescales.
  • If requested by the relevant authority, the building can be supplied with a choice of wall cladding and roof colour options that blend in with the surrounding area.

Site-specific Structural Stability Calculations, as Standard

Site-specific structural calculations are supplied as standard with every building from HTS TENTIQ. Not only does this ensure maximum durability and structural stability, it also avoids any potential insurance issues that can arise with the generic or non-site-specific calculations offered by other suppliers.

We make sure that your building is neither over-engineered nor unnecessarily complex in its calculations. Instead, it is tailored precisely to the requirements of your site, giving you a cost-effective solution with an optimal price-to-performance ratio.
