Carbon-hybrid vehicle maintenance tent for vehicles

HTS TENTIQ was commissioned by a customer from the military sector to develop an all-weather tent for vehicle maintenance. The maintenance tent was required to be sufficiently high to accommodate large military vehicles and equipment with a clearance height of over 4.00 metres.
The customer also wanted a tent that would be so lightweight that assembly could be carried out without mechanical equipment or lifting gear. An additional requirement was the ability to connect other tents or containers to the main tent and expand it as needed.

The development department designed an innovative maintenance tent for vehicles with a range of new features.

The carbon hybrid profile reduced the weight and enables manual installation, while still meeting snow load requirements of up to 50 kg/m² and wind loads of 90 km/h. The entrance had to provide sufficient clearance height for military vehicles up to 4.00 metres high. The manual gate entrance allows the PVC doors to be fully opened up to beneath the gable roof.

The tent gains additional flexibility through side panels, which are attached to the tent separately from the roof and are interchangeable.

The quickly deployable carbon maintenance tent is one of the most innovative products in the HTS TENTIQ military range.

The tent is multifunctionally usable and is particularly suitable as a maintenance building or workshop. The 5.00-metre-high carbon tent can be installed anywhere in the world under the harshest climatic conditions, including extreme cold. Six soldiers can erect this tent in less than 30 minutes without mechanical or electrical aids. Its lightweight and compact design has significantly reduced shipping volume. After developing a prototype, HTS TENTIQ worked closely with the customer to adapt the design to their specific requirements.

The customer has since ordered a significant number of these maintenance tents.
