Mobile maintenance building
A specialised building for military aircraft and vehicles with high snow and wind loads.
Requirements
Our client required a mobile hangar in order to carry out maintenance work on military aircraft and military special-purpose vehicles. The buildings previously in use were outdated and had to be replaced, which is why the client was seeking a new solution. The hangar structure had to be mobile and capable of being assembled quickly, while at the same time meeting high standard requirements. At the respective locations, there are very high snow and wind loads.
Solution
HTS TENTIQ developed a bespoke building made from an aluminium frame with corner bracing made of carbon profiles. The carbon profiles are unique to HTS TENTIQ and are patented. The carbon profiles were used for extreme wind protection and provide greater strength and resistance in extreme weather conditions. Wind loads: 100 km/h – snow loads: 100 kg/m². The assembly of the building took just two days.
Benefits
The client is now able to carry out complex maintenance work quickly, easily and regardless of weather conditions. The installed building is highly resistant and provides excellent protection in extreme weather conditions.
