Temporary Steel Roof Supermarket During Refurb Project

Requirements

To ensure trading could continue during the re-development program of a supermarket store, the client approached HTS TENTIQ to design and build a temporary fully functional retail store for the 18 month period of the project.

Solution

HTS TENTIQ supplied a 30.00m x 65.00m insulated temporary building on a 4.20m eave height, which created 1950m² of fast, functional retail space for the supermarket. The building was designed and installed with an insulated 100 mm composite steel roof, 70 mm insulated side walls, a heavy duty floor system which was installed to accommodate the existing site ground conditions, two sets of electric double doors, access ramps and HVAC air conditioning units.

The complete structure was installed and fully functional within 14 days.

Benefits

The store was able to have the essential improvement work carried out to their permanent building and remain trading at full capacity throughout the project.

Despite the building being manufactured to order and provided as a brand new factory direct solution, the supermarket was still able to hire the industrial structure for the required period.
