Multi-purpose tent
Requirements
A customer from Europe required a multi-purpose tent that could withstand heavy snow loads and be used worldwide all year round. In addition to weather resistance, the tent had to be suitable for multiple applications. It was to be usable as accommodation, for seminars, as a kitchen and canteen, and even for vehicle maintenance.
Solution
HTS TENTIQ was able to meet these requirements without difficulty by custom-modifying one of its standard multi-purpose tents. The company’s in-house development, engineering and production departments manufactured a stronger frame profile capable of withstanding higher wind speeds and snow loads. The delivered operational tent had the following technical specifications:
- A reinforced frame profile of 230 mm × 91 mm
- Tested for snow loads of 75 kg/m² and wind speeds of 100 km/h in accordance with DIN EN 13782
- 10.00 m width and 30.00 m length with a side height of 2.20 m
- 3.00 m bay spacing
- All parts fit into a 20-foot container
- Easy to dismantle, transport to any location worldwide and reassemble
