Aircraft hangar for rapid deployment

A German military service provider required an aircraft hangar. The hangar had to be quick and easy to assemble. In addition, the hangar had to withstand the high wind loads on the coast in northern Germany.

The customer chose HTS TENTIQ because the company could offer rapid production and installation, competitive pricing, and experience in providing products in the defence sector. For this specific project, the structure had a standard size; however, HTS TENTIQ is also able to manufacture bespoke sizes and designs to customer requirements. The mobile aircraft hangar is designed to withstand wind loads of 100 km/h and snow loads of 100 kg/m² and is equipped with a lighting system. Furthermore, the structure has a unique large PVC door approximately 16.00 m wide and 4.00 m high. This door can be opened or closed at the push of a button in approximately 30 seconds.

The customer now has a structure available that is packed in a 20-foot ISO container and can be deployed very easily anywhere in the world. Despite its lightweight aluminium construction, the hangar can be used under extreme weather conditions and was made available quickly at a competitive price.
