Accommodation and crew tent for quick and straightforward erection
Requirements
A customer from the military sector of HTS TENTIQ required an accommodation and crew tent for soldiers, which needed to be quickly and easily available for deployment in Africa. The key requirement was that the tent could be erected quickly and straightforwardly without any special prior expertise.
This part of the project was so critical that an independent team of 11 soldiers spent a training day assembling and testing the tent. Afterwards, a comprehensive report was prepared for the further decision-making phase for the procurement authority.

The tent from the P-Series passed the detailed inspection without any issues. The inspection team’s report was highly positive in all key aspects, particularly regarding its quick and user-friendly assembly.
The customer ultimately chose a P11 for this project with the following technical specifications:
- 5.90 m width by 4.00 m length, with an area of 23.60 m²
- The side height was 1.90 m with a maximum height of 2.90 m.

- Due to the high temperatures, the tent was fitted with a camouflage sunshade and an additional internal insulating liner.

- Custom modifications can be made on request in numerous variants and configurations.
- Erection of this tent with three people takes only around 15 minutes.
- The largest standard tent has a packed transport weight of approximately 165.00 kg.

The HTS TENTIQ team at the head office in Germany and the regional sales representative in Africa will maintain their close relationship and, through regular visits, ensure that the tent continues to meet all requirements and wishes of the customer, even under intensive use.
