Temporary constructions for dance studios
Requirements
An international dance school recorded an increase in newly registered student numbers. Instead of having to turn them away, the dance school decided to increase capacity and available studio space. Fortunately, the plot of land next to the school could be leased and was ideally suited to accommodating the new studios, so six temporary constructions were required.
Solution
The mobile sports buildings were all prefabricated in accordance with the following specifications:
- A surface area of 10.00 m x 15.00 m with an eaves height of 4.20 m
- Light-blocking thermal roof
- 40 mm thick insulated wall panels as well as glass panels with a side height of 2.40 m
- Floor with a wooden subframe and wooden boards
The client already had two HTS TENTIQ temporary buildings in use prior to the construction of the six new buildings and therefore realised that the new buildings required very good insulation for internal noise reduction. The client opted for our premium range of insulated temporary buildings to allow a suspended ceiling made of laminated plasterboard and mineral wool to be hung from the roof structure for sound reduction. The walls were then fitted with the same panels as the ceiling, and a special foam floor was installed to further improve sound insulation.
