Requirements
Lingfield Park Racecourse is a well-known venue in southern England, particularly among horse racing enthusiasts. Races are held across three categories—jump racing, flat racing and all-weather racing—making it one of the busiest racecourses in Great Britain. Meetings are held here on a regular basis in an appropriate setting.
After renting party tents for several years, the operator decided to purchase an event tent and install it directly behind the finishing line in order to meet the requirements for catering during race days and other events.
Solution
In Lingfield, a party tent measuring 9.00 m x 12.00 m was installed with an aluminium frame, a fully integrated steel subfloor system, and an ivory-coloured, gathered additional interior lining on the roof and sides. Due to the location of the structure, two levels of side sections with windows were required in order to offer visitors a fantastic view of the finishing straight of the horse racing track.
Benefits
The event tent was erected within a single day and has proven to be a great success for the racecourse. In a stylish setting, all visitors and guests can now be properly catered for.
