Double-decker tent for BMW Motorsport Hospitality

Requirements

The Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft (DTM) is one of the most important racing series in the world. BMW is one of the participants in the annual series, which consists of 9 races at 8 different circuits in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Russia.

BWM, one of the leading German automobile manufacturers, contacted HTS TENTIQ to design a double-storey tent building that would represent the quality brand at every race and could accommodate all team members and VIP guests. The simple assembly and dismantling of the double-storey building was a crucial criterion, as this had to be carried out every two weeks over a period of six months.

Solution

The choice fell on a Manhattan double-storey tent building with a length of 25.00 m, a width of 15.00 m and an eaves height of 8.60 m. This provided sufficient space for the hospitality area and a lounge for the drivers. A balcony with a width of 2.50 m was integrated into the building, from which VIP guests could watch the race. With its luxurious and distinctive exterior, BMW was able to stand out from the competition during the race series.

Benefits

HTS TENTIQ received the contract as it was the only company capable of developing and manufacturing such a high-quality building. The project was a complete success, and BMW is extremely satisfied with this solution.
