Luxury Hospitality Structure for Porsche Motorsport at The Carrera Cup Australian Championship

In early 2025, Newcastle Event Hire, approached HTS TENTIQ Australia to help design a luxury hospitality suite for their client, Porsche Motorsport Australia. As their chosen event supplier, the client required a relocatable hospitality structure for the Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Championship. The modular structure would travel across Australia as the ‘Porsche Drivers Lounge’ at the eight race locations.

Due to this, the project was programmed for delivery at their first championship race in March 2025; coincidentally the same weekend as the Formula One 2025 season opening race in Melbourne. The Porsche Carrera Cup race featured as a support race during the F1 race weekend.

The new Porsche temporary hospitality structure made its first outing at the Formula One season opening Grand Prix after only a short number of weeks in production. Due to the modular design, it was very fitting that its inaugural use was at the also temporary Albert Park circuit in Melbourne.

The final solution detailed the use of:

• Röder HTS GZ-Premium Large Marquee, 15.00m width by 20.00m length by 4.00m eave height with low-pitched roof
• Single layer roof and gables, with additional brackets supplied to fix externally supplied Alucobond Façade
• Additional transport racks to help with organisation and transportation between set up locations throughout the race calendar
• Existing 3.00m height ISO panels from Newcastle Event Hire with the addition of nine bays of ISO infill panels from HTS TENTIQ to create the required 4.00m side height
• A total of six Avant-Garde glazed wall panels (5.00m x 4.00m) supplied for use on front façade

The existing relationship between the client, Newcastle Event Hire, and HTS TENTIQ allowed the creation of the optimum solution to support Porsche across their Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Championship. In what was a complex and rewarding project, the ability to use both new and pre-existing equipment created the flexibility to adhere to the tight timescales.

Much like the end client and Newcastle Event Hire, the team at HTS TENTIQ are thrilled with the final result. We all are looking forward to seeing it in use for years to come on the motorsport circuit.
