Mobile event tent offers flexible outdoor space

The request for a mobile event tent came from a hotel in Alsace in north-eastern France that specialises in hosting weddings and events. The luxurious hotel offers not only accommodation but also many opportunities for corporate events, weddings and family celebrations.

The hotel’s main building accommodated 45 seats. In addition, the impressive woodland area and landscaped garden could be used for open-air events in good weather. Plans to increase the number and size of events made an additional space necessary, one that lay somewhere between the two existing alternatives: a covered outdoor area. The obvious solution was a mobile event tent that could be erected during the summer months and dismantled and stored in winter.

Those responsible searched online and came across HTS TENTIQ. Although two other companies were also considered, the regional technical field representative was able, during his on-site visit, to convince the client with a vast range of products and options as well as examples of the company’s previous projects that HTS TENTIQ was the ideal partner!

HTS TENTIQ adhered to the motto of a covered area with an open-air atmosphere and delivered a temporary building with panoramic walls and a roof cladding made of transparent polyglass. This solution offered all the comfort of a covered space while still opening up the view to the beauty of the natural surroundings. Although HTS TENTIQ usually carries out the installation itself, in this case an event partner of the company was engaged for the project to carry out the first erection of the building. The mobile event building was named “Pergola” and accommodates up to 120 guests. It is now offered as a brand-new outdoor event space and provides all the luxury of an indoor space.

The location of the “Pergola”, in close proximity to the woodland and the hotel with its sanitary facilities and catering services, is simply overwhelming.

The side walls can be opened or closed depending on the weather and enhance the experience of nature, while the robust and attractive parquet floor further enhances the ambience.

From an economic perspective, the venue now has space for almost any type of event – from small private parties indoors to large, weather-protected and, if required, temperature-controlled outdoor events.
