Over 300 event tents for a large festival
HTS TENTIQ provided 340 event tents for the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival in Saudi Arabia, including high-quality luxury interior fittings fully in accordance with customer specifications.
Requirements
The King Abdulaziz Camel Festival is the world’s largest camel festival, held annually under the patronage of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in Saudi Arabia.
The historic setting of the event has, for centuries, been an important meeting point for camel caravans from all parts of the Arabian Peninsula. Today, the venue covers 30 million square metres of desert landscape and offers, with specially designed accommodation for 35,000 visitors, the highest technical standards.
The organisers approached HTS TENTIQ with the task of providing a large number of temporary buildings for the 2019 festival.
Solution
HTS TENTIQ has the necessary planning and manufacturing capacities to offer a truly impressive range of buildings that more than meet the requirements of the organisers and the expectations of the visitors. The HTS team skilfully overcame the numerous challenges involved in delivering the festival temporary buildings in close cooperation with the Saudi partners on site, thereby ensuring a successful event.
HTS TENTIQ supplied, among other things, two impressive Manhattan models with a surface area of 40 by 60 metres and a height of nine metres. The Manhattan is a cube-shaped premium event building with a flat roof and glazed wall panels, whose design is a real eye-catcher and generates the desired attention. It offers excellent opportunities for advertising and branding on its various façades and wall systems and is available in both single-storey and two-storey versions. Not only that, the Manhattan also meets the highest quality standards combined with maximum comfort – the perfect combination to impress your guests.
In addition, HTS TENTIQ offers its customers bespoke designs down to the smallest detail. For the customer-specific design of the “dome building” with a diameter of 50 metres and a height of 16 metres, our in-house development and engineering departments were able to draw on years of expertise. Our specialised project department is also capable of implementing almost any conceivable design, regardless of shape and size. In view of the extreme conditions in the desert, the constructions were designed to withstand site-specific wind loads.
Benefits
To offer customers the best possible cost and time efficiency, even for bespoke orders, care is taken to use materials from existing stock. This makes the manufacturing process particularly time-efficient.
For the event in Saudi Arabia, the client also required a large number of pagodas with dimensions of five by five metres. Pagoda tents are extremely flexible in their arrangement and design, as seamless connections between multiple structures allow for a variety of layout options. They are easy to assemble and can be individually adapted.
In total, HTS TENTIQ provided 340 event tents for the festival, including high-quality luxury interior fittings fully in accordance with customer specifications. The result: an impressive tent city for a very special experience in the heart of the desert.
