New modular terminal for Tripoli Airport

Requirements

Due to capacity constraints, Tripoli International Airport wanted to expand its arrivals building and therefore contacted HTS TENTIQ. Shortly after all details were agreed, a airport terminal with customer-specific requirements was commissioned and completed within a very short construction period. The growing number of passengers required improvements to the existing infrastructure, which was achieved very convincingly with this solution.

Solution

The airport authorities chose HTS TENTIQ because they were impressed by the level of service provided, the expertise, and the communication during the enquiry and project preparation phase. They were also impressed by the quality of the products and the ability to handle customer-specific projects.

The building designed, manufactured, and delivered for the airport in Tripoli had a width of 50.00 m and a length of 100.00 m, featured a multi-peak roof design, an eaves height of 6 metres, and was also fully insulated. Furthermore, the building was supplied with all the necessary equipment and accessories required for a fully functional airport.

Benefits

The airport terminal was delivered and constructed within a very short construction period. The unique and modern multi-peak roof design also contributed to the modernisation of the entire airport complex.

Upon completion, the capacity at the airport was significantly increased, allowing the substantially higher number of passengers to be processed without any problems and in a short time. The outcome of the project was met with great satisfaction.
