Canopy for loading ramp protects cargo from moisture
Requirements
Our customer needed a fast and cost-effective solution to ensure that all loading and unloading operations at their logistics centre could take place under cover. The customer was pleasantly surprised that the canopy structure from HTS TENTIQ could be purchased and installed within a very short time, using epoxy resin anchoring to secure the structure to the existing concrete surface, without the need to lay new and costly foundations.
Solution
We were able to provide a canopy with a width of 30.00 m and a length of 30.00 m, with an eaves height of 5.20 m, offering sufficient space for articulated lorry access. The logistics building was delivered with a tarpaulin roofing system and an external gutter. The structure was fully assembled three weeks after the order date and was operational four days later.

Since the canopy was fully commissioned at the distribution centre, the customer can guarantee that all of their clients’ cargo remains dry and is protected at all times against damage caused by moisture. All negative consequences involving unnecessary losses and business setbacks, such as higher insurance premiums, loss of membership in the Pallet Network (a network of pallet transport companies in the UK), and potential safety risks during loading and unloading in wet or icy conditions, are avoided.
