Exhibition and sales area of a garden centre

Requirements

One of the largest garden centres in Melbourne, The Greenery, contacted HTS TENTIQ when additional sales space for indoor and outdoor furniture was required on site. Due to the increased demand for garden furniture, the company had to expand quickly and cost-effectively with the help of the additional space.

Although the client intends to use the building permanently, they wanted to keep the option open to relocate the commercial building to another site due to future expansions.

Solution

A commercial structure from the L-SERIES with a size of 10.00 m x 20.00 m and an eaves height of 4.20 m provided the client with a short-term sales area of 200 m².

The building was constructed using the popular inflatable thermal roof system with light-impermeable tarpaulins. The walls were designed as a combination of glass and 40 mm PVC safety wall panels. The building was equipped with two double-glazed door units with a canopy and an integrated guttering system.

The complete structure was mounted directly onto the existing ground conditions. Since the construction of this structure, the client has purchased another, larger building for the same site.

Benefits

Commercial buildings from HTS TENTIQ can be easily converted into attractive and functional retail stores. In this case, the building was used to provide additional sales space in the growing garden furniture market, enabling the company to participate in this growth with minimal investment and delay and achieve maximum return.
