Insulated buildings for storage and loading
Requirements
A logistics service provider was seeking suitable options for its customers for the further expansion of a central transshipment hub. Due to existing capacity bottlenecks, it became necessary for the large logistics company to find a solution that could be implemented as quickly and cost-effectively as possible. However, it had to be ensured that the storage of the various types of materials complied with the respective safety regulations, as particularly sensitive goods were involved. For HTS TENTIQ, the task was to meet the demanding requirements of the customer.
Solution
HTS TENTIQ was able to develop a solution within the planned timeframe that was tailored to the required space conditions and to realise the facility as a two-span temporary building. A two-span, insulated temporary building of type LX was used, featuring roof cladding and side wall cladding made of sandwich panels, as well as roller doors, roof lights, interior lighting, a cable safety system, and a smoke and heat exhaust ventilation system. This ensured that the new facility met all requirements for safe storage and internal transport. In addition, the overall concept already took into account the storage of empty pallets and additional loading ramps.

In the spacious, insulated multi-span buildings, all activities related to storage, logistics, and onward loading or onward transport can be carried out indoors without difficulty. Another benefit for the large logistics company is that this ensures occupational safety for warehouse personnel and that extensive site traffic is also managed reliably and in a controlled manner.
