Mobile insulated storage building for an automobile manufacturer
Requirements
The customer required an insulated storage building to accommodate parts for a new series of high-quality four-wheel-drive vehicles.
HTS TENTIQ was selected through a tender process due to its competitive pricing and the sophisticated, modular, and temporary building solution to develop and erect the required temporary building.
Solution
The modular, mobile building provided by HTS TENTIQ is a free-span structure with a specially manufactured connection to the existing plant. The supplied building is a mobile, thermally insulated storage building from the L series with dimensions of 20.00 m x 35.00 m, an eaves height of 6.20 m, featuring a thermal roof and solid walls.
It was equipped with two personnel doors, two electric roller shutters, gutters and downpipes, as well as lighting. HTS TENTIQ also had to create a specially manufactured connection from the storage building to the existing factory in order to ensure full integration into the existing work processes. As no additional ground or foundation works were required, the modular, temporary building was erected on the existing commercial site in just six days.

Benefits
The rapid erection of the building directly on the existing concrete surface on site meant that the new storage building was assembled and ready for use in less than a week. As the additional storage space was created directly at the site, extra fuel costs and transport times that would have been incurred by renting off-site were avoided.
