Temporary sales buildings for a nationwide project
Requirements
A customer of HTS TENTIQ from the retail sector carried out a large-scale refurbishment of retail stores across the country. During these necessary but disruptive works, it had to be ensured that loyal customers of the chain would not switch to competitors due to missing products or lack of space.
For the smooth running of the project, the customer required various sizes of high-quality, temporary sales buildings at multiple locations in the United Kingdom.
Solution
For this specific project, a 20.00 m x 25.00 m insulated temporary building was provided as a commercial building with an eaves height of 4.20 m, creating 500 m² of high-quality retail space at the site at short notice.
To provide a suitable building for intensive public use, an electrically operated entrance door with two emergency exit doors, an entrance canopy, a trolley bay, and a fully integrated guttering system were installed.
The sales building was installed on the existing subfloor with an integrated cassette floor with a load capacity of 500 kg/m² and a thickness of 22 mm.
Benefits
After the first temporary supermarket project was completed, the customer leased numerous mobile commercial buildings made of insulated temporary buildings for refurbishment works at other retail outlets.
This ensured that the modernisation programme could be implemented without disruption or inconvenience for the valued customer base.
